This policy explains how copyright and intellectual property apply to materials, teaching content, and artwork created at AJN Fine Art.
We believe it is important to respect creativity, ownership, and the rights of both AJN Fine Art and our students.
AJN Fine Art Materials & Content
All teaching materials, lesson plans, course structures, worksheets, resources, branding, logos, and content created by AJN Fine Art remain the intellectual property of AJN Fine Art, unless stated otherwise.
This includes:
Course and workshop content
Teaching methods and lesson formats
Written materials and resources
Website content, branding, and marketing materials
These materials must not be:
copied
reproduced
shared
sold
used for commercial purposes
without prior written permission from AJN Fine Art.
Student Artwork
Artwork created by students during classes, workshops, or courses remains the property of the student (or their parent/carer, where applicable).
AJN Fine Art does not claim ownership over student artwork.
Use of Student Artwork
AJN Fine Art may photograph and document student artwork created during classes and workshops as part of normal teaching, display, and promotional activity.
This may include:
photographing finished or in-progress artwork
displaying artwork in learning spaces or exhibitions
sharing images of artwork on the AJN Fine Art website, social media, or marketing materials
Where artwork is shared:
children are not identified by full name
images are used respectfully and appropriately
artwork is never altered in a way that misrepresents the student’s work
Photographing artwork does not require additional parental consent, as it does not identify the child.
Images Including Children
Where photographs or videos include a recognisable image of a child, parental consent will always be sought and managed in line with our Photography & Media Use Policy.
Use of AJN Fine Art Content by Parents & Students
Parents and students are welcome to:
share their own artwork
talk about their experiences at AJN Fine Art
However, AJN Fine Art teaching content, lesson structures, and resources must not be:
recorded
redistributed
replicated for teaching or commercial use
without written permission.
Recording & Reproduction
Photography or recording of teaching sessions is not permitted without prior consent from AJN Fine Art.
This helps protect:
intellectual property
student privacy
the learning environment
Respecting Others’ Work
Students are encouraged to:
respect the creative work of others
avoid copying or misusing the work of fellow students or artists
engage with art in a positive and ethical way
This supports a fair and respectful creative community.
Breach of This Policy
Any misuse of AJN Fine Art intellectual property may result in:
removal of access to classes or materials
refusal of future bookings
further action where appropriate
This does not affect statutory rights.
